No name for this guy yet, or any kind of backstory really! I was on the train home from uni and the appearance just popped fully formed into my brain, so when I got home I had to sketch him out! It’s like the first drawing I’ve done in weeks that I’m actually proud of :’D (though I can see ways it could be better).
He kind of looks like a cross between a Mike Mignola version of Ghost Rider and Sir Daniel Fortesque from Medieval XD

Ah-ha! I haven’t drawn many ponies at all in the last year, I really kind of sucked at getting back into the fandom, which is a shame, but I couldn’t pass up a celebratory drawing of our new Sparkly overlord! My older pony fans will remember some old drawings I did waaay back in 2011 of alicorn Twilight. ‘Course, nobody thought that’d actually happen in a million years… jokes on you guys now! Haha :’D

The very very oldest of my watchers might actually see something familiar about this piece! It’s a remake of a picture I did in 2011! I don’t think it’s on DA anymore, but my college lecturer at the time printed it out and put it on the wall of her classroom, which I was really flattered by. I went into college today to visit my old lectuerers and did this update to give to her ^^

My entry for Bryan Lee O’Malley’s #RamonaStyle contest! This was a bit of an epic - I drew it up, and took ages inking it, but it was just feeling like a drag and it didn’t look very me… and my philosophy is, if you’re not enjoying art, you’re not doing it right! So I went back and started again, and tried not to try too hard ;D
The Scott Pilgrim books are a big influence for me, so I love to pay tribute!
